Channel History
GreenFlagTV was founded in November of 2022 by Nolan Rempel. Prior to this, Nolan had already broadcasted one full season of the OMSRL Xfinity Series on his personal channel. The GreenFlagTV channel was initially made as a more fitting place to host the series, as well as some small offline AI series on the side. Nolan already had experience with several offline series prior, on NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. On the online front, Nolan had been working with companies such as RaceSpotTV since the summer of 2018.
Around January, the TNGG iRacing eSports League would officially become the third season for the channel, with the VRX-Pimax World Cup hosting a single season beforehand. In the summer of 2023, GreenFlagTV would see a sudden explosion in popularity, with GreenFlagTV's official broadcast roster rising from just 2 official leagues, to 9 scheduled shows within just 6 weeks. With many presentations still to come, what started as a fun little hobby has quickly turned into a full-time business, and one that Nolan has since embraced. It's safe to say then, that GreenFlagTV isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Nolan J. Rempel
Nolan Rempel is a professional motorsports and esports commentator hailing from southwestern Canada. From as early as he can remember, Nolan has had a passion for motor racing as a whole. Back in 2015 he started the first of many offline AI series utilizing the old Papyrus game, NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. He would continue hosting these series on and off all the way up until 2021.
In 2018, he began to volunteer as a course marshal at Mission Raceway Park's 2 km (1.2 mile) road course, located in Mission, British Columbia. At the end of the year, META (Motorsport Emergency Turnworkers Association) would award him the "Non-Member Of The Year" award. META would go on to award him the "Rookie Of The Year" award in 2019, after Nolan returned to marshal for the 2019 season as well. 2018 would see Nolan make his online debut as well with RaceSpotTV, working on several series including the Classic Indycar Series, what is known today as the IVRA Hyperx Clubsport Series, as well as partaking in several other endurance racing events. But most recognizably, the RealSimRacing Full Throttle Cup Series, where he would become a regular caster all the way up until August of 2023.
In 2019, Nolan would become officially employed by Mission Raceway Park as a timing official for the 1/4 NHRA Sanctioned Division 6 drag strip. Nolan would continue to work throughout the entire 2019 season. 2020 would see a break from real world racing with the Covid-19 pandemic, during which Nolan would put all of his focus into his online work, quickly garnering a reputation as an announcer that always brought energy and enthusiasm to each individual event, putting passion into every word of his work.
Throughout 2021 Nolan would return to work at Mission Raceway Park, although this time exclusively as one of the track announcers for the drag strip. This would be the title that would stick, and to this day Nolan continues to commentate regular weekly racing events at the track. He has taken a step back from course marshaling as a whole to continue to apply himself in his online work. Nolan would found the GreenFlagTV channel in 2022, originally to just host the OMSRL Xfinity Series, a series put on by several of his friends from another league he had been helping to run since 2020.
As the summer of 2023 rolled around, GreenFlagTV would become swamped with broadcast requests. As such, Nolan has been dedicating almost all of his spare time into continuing to build the channel. To this day, Nolan continues to work diligently in both his online and real world capacity, his passion for motorsports never once faltering.

Austin Edstrom has been in and out of announcing roles since he was a fifteen year old sophomore in high school when he began working as a PA announcer for Hazel Green High School's Boys and Girls Basketball teams. Since then, he has worked for the University of Alabama in Huntsville as a lead commentator for a variety of the school's sports teams, as well as being a part of the gameday operations squad for the Huntsville City Football Club.
